Ram Testing Ireland offers sheep farmers an animal friendly breeding service, across the island of Ireland. As a mobile service, we work with farmers to maximise the fertility within their flocks, prior to and during the breeding season.

Ram Semen Assessment
Animal friendly semen assessment, to ensure that rams are fit for the breeding season.
Cervical Artificial Insemination
Cervical AI allows a ram to be mated with 20-40 ewes on a given day
Semen Sexing Agents – Shop
For sheep and Goats: Boost the % of male or female offspring born in a flock/herd to 70-80% along with an increase in conception rates of 5-15%.

I prefer Cervical AI compared to the Laparoscopic AI as there is less stress on the ewe. Ewes are brought in just before AI, no fasting or special treatment and are let out afterwards. In 2015 we had a 73% conception rate
